9-10th semester Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS4)

Safe Operation and Shutdown of a Wind Turbine - design a protection system that will shut down the turbine before it breaks down. [Final Report] (long thesis project sep11-jun12)

Receding Horizon Control of a Small Scale Wind Turbine - advanced control of a small scale wind turbine (approx. 70 cm in diameter) in the lab

Spring:

8th semester Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS2)

Intelligent Start-up of Wind Turbines -intelligently start a wind turbine up while estimating the wind speed. [Final Report]

6th semester Control Engineering

Modelling and Control of a Small Scale Wind Turbine - control a small scale wind turbine (approx. 70 cm in diameter) in the lab

Spring:

8th semester Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS2)

Trajectory planning and control for a Segway RMP - make a segway RMP capable of moving around in a human environment. [Final Report] and [Project group homepage]

Robust control of Segway PT - make a controller for a homemade Segway Personal Transporter. (has not been running)

9th and 10th semester Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS3 and IAS4)

Personal Robot Shopper - make a robot, which is able to assist you in shopping in a supermarket. (has not been running)

7th semester IAS and NDS

Distributed Houshold Cleaning - a number of cleaning robots must communicate and distribute the tasks. [Final Article]

Segway - implement a microcontroller system to control a home made segway [Final Report]
